2. Data we use
We may use contact details for early access or support; account name and email; checkout, payment, delivery and order information; consent and unsubscribe records; and technical, security and fraud-prevention logs. Guest checkout is available and an account is optional. Passwords are handled by our account service, while full card data is handled by the payment service.
3. Why we use it
- To send requested early access messages, based on consent.
- To authenticate an optional account and keep it secure.
- To accept, prepare, deliver, support, refund and document an order.
- To prevent fraud, automated abuse, attacks and unlawful resale.
- To answer enquiries and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We use the legal basis required for the relevant purpose, including consent, contract, legal obligation or legitimate interest.
4. Service partners and transfers
We use specialist service partners for hosting, account security, email, payment, order preparation, delivery and fraud prevention. Each receives only the data needed for its task under appropriate contractual and legal safeguards. Some processing may occur in another country; the protections required by applicable law continue to apply.
5. Account and order history
After email verification, we may link only unlinked orders whose checkout email matches that verified email. Order history shows limited product, edition, date, payment and delivery status; it does not show full addresses, card data, passwords or private operational notes.
6. Retention and your choices
We retain order, accounting, guarantee and security records for the period required or reasonably necessary for the stated purpose. Early access records are retained until no longer needed for those communications or until consent is withdrawn, unless another legal basis applies. Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and withdraw consent. 7. Communications, cookies and security
Optional early access messages include an unsubscribe route. Unsubscribing stops those messages but not transactional order communications or records we must keep. See the Cookie Notice. We use necessary cookies and reasonable technical and organisational controls; no internet service is risk-free.
